THE TWO LIGHTS PROJECTFrom two lights, many will grow.
TWO LIGHTS began with two people, a true story and one song. It is now becoming a place where more emotions, memories and human connections can be turned into music.
Alone we shine. Together we shine brighter.
Every person carries stories for which words are sometimes not enough. A memory. A love. A longing. Someone you have never forgotten. A moment that gave hope or changed your life.
TWO LIGHTS wants to give these stories a sound.
What we cannot say, we let resound.
Not just another upload platform
TWO LIGHTS is not intended to be a portal where music is uploaded at random. Personal stories and music with meaning are at its heart.
Contributions are therefore selected and reviewed together. Not every submitted text or song will be published.
A shared project
Releases may appear under the shared music brand TWO LIGHTS – [Song title]. Publicly, the story takes centre stage, not the individual person.
Internally, authorship, creation, software or AI used, licences, approvals, participation and revenue are documented clearly for every song.
What TWO LIGHTS awakens in people
We do not only want to count how often a song is clicked. We want to know what happens while listening:
- Who did you think of?
- Which memory returned?
- What did you feel?
- Did the song awaken something in you?
- Where does your light shine?
Approved responses create a field of lights: places and anonymous voices showing how two lights become many.
Where do the lights shine?
Every approved personal response automatically makes the stated place shine. You can zoom and move the map with a mouse, your fingers or the buttons. Streets are only displayed on request.

Your story could become another light
Do you have a personal story, a text or a song that might fit TWO LIGHTS? Then tell us about it.
A submission does not automatically mean publication. Before every shared project, we clarify the content, origin, software used, commercial usage rights and written publication approval.
For the first contact, please send only a short description of your story. Confidential documents, identity papers or personal data not intended for third parties are not required.
Do you have a story that could become a song?
Tell us what it is about and what this story means to you.
TWO LIGHTS is not the lighthouse.
TWO LIGHTS is the people and their lights.
The lighthouse is a symbol.
Alone we shine.
Together we shine brighter.
Share your feeling with us.
The first 50 personally reviewed, approved and anonymously published responses in this language receive the complete song as an MP3 for €1.00 instead of €1.99 as a thank-you.
